I LIKE THIS HAT. IN GENERAL, SEEMS MAKE FROM A GOOD MATERIALS EXCEPT THE CHINSTRAP TIPS. IT WOULD LOOK BETTER WITH A PLASTIC TIED AT THE ENDS.
MANY YRS AGO I GOT A OCTR BRAND WITH THE LITTLE PLASTIC TIED, IT LOOKS CUTER.

As a woman with a smaller head - I took the risk of buying this men's medium. Fit is great. Hat is great. Lighweight, have not tried out it's floatability, but the brim is flexible but not at all flimsey. The pocket is a nice touch. point off for the drawcord. It is a tie, not a quick adjust - which will be a hassle in a heavy wind to have to keep tying, retying, to get it right. Also cord goes around the inside back of the hat. I will figure why, maybe it's part of getting the fit right, I can see me putting it under my pony tail to help keep it on

Not usually a fan of tech hats due to their indifference to traditional hat shape and forms, but this is a great looking hat. The one I received had a perfectly shaped fedora brim curve (unlike the STP photo). It's a firm curve that is stable in use. The crown and top are well shaped and stable too despite the gossamer mesh crown material. The brim is substantial and well constructed so if you received one without the shape you wanted, it would be straightforward to have it re-shaped or do it yourself with steam if you know how. All in all, this hat suggests high quality all around. The "earth" color is a versatile traditional hat color that will work with most things.

The "breezer" tech feature really works. I had doubts about whether the mesh-vented crown would pass much air in practice, but compared to a similar shape non-vented straw hat with a fan across the room, you can feel the breeze pass through this Henschel Breezer hat with noticeable cooling effect.

Not sure how it is packable. Seems a shame to crush and fold this well-formed, firm brim. Maybe it pops right back and looks fine. I'm reluctant to chance it.
